Most decent quality fabrics these days are colourfast, but there are some fabrics and materials that aren’t, and it’s next to impossible to know unless you test first, or it’s written on a label somewhere (unlikely).
If you are treating any area where the Curtain Magic liquid could come in contact with a colour, then testing first is a good option.

The kit comes in an envelope with a small dripper bottle inside (think eye dropper bottle), and it comes ready to apply directly onto your fabric, no mixing or diluting required. Simply squeeze the ‘ready to go’ liquid onto the area you want to treat, let it dry and take a look the following day to make sure there is no change of colour… it really is that simple.
